Why Amnesty for Animals, the reason for the name for this site and name for our organization is that there is an organization called “Amnesty International” and that it only calls out amnesty for human political prisoners. It is okay for every organization to stand for a limited number of causes. If not only one cause or else your organization will maybe get too divided over different causes.
That for that, but I am unable to understand why there is such a discrimination between Human political prisoners and Animal economic slaves.
The injustification for that is paramount, but why is there so little population in the so called “social” “civilized” western Hemisphere that sees this mountain of injustice?
Is Humankind really intelligent, are we really morally more sophisticated than the animals we keep (dumb). Is humankind really to call civilized by keeping slaves?
I myself think if other species would be able to grow hands like Dolphins with an Humanlike opposable thumb, then they would be able to learn to use tools and they would raise themselves to our levels within no time, considering that they have a larger brain mass than Homo sAPiEns. I really am convinced that we would not be that “intelligent” species we are now if we had to miss the hands that made all the possibilities for us to learn and get there where we are now.
Sounds crazy doesn’t it, did you ever wonder why Human Kind developed the way it did?
What to think if the Human Species never had the hands with that particular special opposable thumb that we do have, were would that have left us, think that thoroughly trough and you’ll might (am sure) come to some odd conclusions.
Anyway with this website starts the Global Animal rights movement “Amnesty for Animals”. The goal of this organization is the abolishment of Speciesism. We are jumping the brink to empty all cages. We shall be an educational movement to help raise awareness. We as a species need to climb that ladder of evolution and need to step up to the next level of consciousness and become the real stewards of all that lives on planet Earth.
All species next to mankind need to be freed of pain, fear, frustration, loneliness, freed from whatever inconvenience inflicted by Homo s A P i E ns. The adage “Until every cage is empty” is a proverb we gladly embrace; the war against animals is over!
We are all one on this one planet, we need to become the real shepherds of this world and stop destroying just for gain.
All kinds of groups have picked up the fight for all kinds of rights related issues like:
and so on…
It is now time for the final two steps:
1. Planetary Constitutional Rights for Animals.
and
2. Rights for Nature / Rights for Earth everywhere.
So there are a lot of Human rights movements but indeed they concern only people and completely leave out all other species.
We believe that it is the right of Human Rights organizations to leave out other species than people, but an unguilty prisoner still is an unguilty prisoner and every unguilty prisoner is one prisoner to many.
It should make no difference whether it concerns an innocent Human or an innocent Animal victim, making that difference is a form of discrimination called “Speciesism”.
Animals are the unwilling prisoners of Humankind and they are our involuntary slaves. Animals function as slaves of death really and that is a bitter conclusion to make. Animals are their own property, but instead they are owned by us and they are called “things” or “goods” by law.
Animals are excluded out of being living beings and are referred to as ownable goods. So when reading the law about animals in most countries over the world, an animal is owned by people instead of owned by itself. There are countries that even find it okay to kill animals in the streets, malnourish and mistreat animals while working animals to death like done with Horses and Donkeys.
Is that the so called intelligent Human Being? There is nothing intelligent about abusing living creatures at will. I like to say that Humanity is really not that intelligent, but very opportunistic. People like to see, hear and say we are an intelligent species but the proof to you and I, says otherwise.
